5 questions to ask before taking a vitamin complex

But first, do you need to take vitamins? If you answer yes to any of these questions, you probably need to take.

Do not you eat a very balanced, very rich in vegetables and fruits?
Do you smoke?
Do you live in a country or place polluted?
Are you prone to stress?
Like most people, you probably need to take.
What is the purpose multivitamins?

The main objective of a multivitamin to provide the body with a variety of micro nutrients. In most cases, this level could not be reached with diet alone. The formulas of multivitamins and mineral complexes have been improved by the addition of plant extracts and substances essential for cellular protection: resveratrol, quercetin, rutin, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin, standardized extracts of grape seed, pomegranate, Olive Leaf Green Tea ...

It is not only fill gaps but also to allow our entire organization to work with these maximum contributions.

This will result in a quick form and highest level of protection against many diseases (atherosclerosis, certain cancers, aging joints. It has even been proven that taking a multivitamin in the long term significantly delay aging.

If you want to take food supplements to health problems, it is most effective if your body has all the vitamins and minerals they need.

That said, all complex vitamins are not created equal distance away. To use complex vitamins really safe and effective, just ask yourself these 5 questions:

1 Bring it on synthetic vitamins and natural vitamins

The synthetic vitamins are much less effective. If your lifestyle is poor, they can even promote certain cancers. Hence the controversy over multivitamins. It is therefore very important to choose the natural form.

2 Are they complete?

Know that most vitamins exist naturally in different forms. It is preferable that coexists more forms of vitamins in the same tablet. Take the case of vitamin E for example.

Almost all supplements that provide vitamin E, natural or synthetic, contain only the alpha tocopherol form.

But a study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences recommends that at least 20% of vitamin E is made in the form of gamma tocopherol. Indeed, taking alpha tocopherol alone could contribute to lower levels of gamma tocopherol in the body.

This is unfortunate because the gamma tocopherol protects arteries and brain degenerative diseases!

3 Are they adequate dose?

If this is not the case, they will not be effective. For example, intake of vitamin C should be at least 500 mg per day. Moreover, our body can not properly absorb all these elements at once. 2 or 3 doses per day for meals will be much more effective than a single daily dose.

4 Do they contain plant extracts?

These extracts contain substances that protect cells and delay their degeneration. The plant extracts will be chosen as priority and non-standardized extracts of plant powder, thus ensuring purity of the extract and above all a constant concentration of active ingredients.

5 Contains these harmful elements?

The presence of iron and copper (except in very low concentration is to be avoided? Unless tests have shown that you lack these minerals.

Why?

Because iron and copper facilitate oxidation reactions (production of free radicals that destroy cells. Excipients are they otherwise healthy? Aware that some excipients taken long term may be harmful to your health. Polyvinyl may, in the long term cause of cancers of the liver.

The complex vitamins are very beneficial, almost essential for your health. But you really have to choose carefully by asking yourself these 5 questions.
